And Pitta-increasing lifestyles? Because its especially hard for a Vata-Kapha to balance each other because they are so opposite but if I were to concentrate on aggravating Pitta, the deficient Dosha in this case, then I would be pasifying both Vata and Kapha.
Would it make sense for a Vata-Kapha Vikruti person eat Pitta-aggravating foods?

From what I understand, the answer is: yes and no. You should consume foods that are easy to digest. They shouldn’t promote kapha (therefore, limit dairy and oily or greasy foods), and they shouldn’t by dry or cold. It sounds limiting, but hey! There are thousands and thousands of different foods to choose from, so it should be easy to change diet while still eating enjoyable food. Find out which dosha (vata or kapha) is most dominant, and start by avoiding foods, environments and activities that aggravate it. But don’t overeat pitta-aggravating foods, or else vata’s wind may start to kick up and merge with kapha to create a storm.
